Chad Eickholt

Chad Eickholt is the Unit Chairperson for the UAW Local 12 Lucas County 911 Dispatch Unit and a Fire Telecommunicator and Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) with the Lucas County 911 Regional Council of Governments. He was hired in March 2022 and brings frontline operational experience to his leadership and advocacy on behalf of bargaining unit members.

Chad was elected Unit Chairperson in February 2025 and formally assumed leadership in March 2025. In this role, he focuses on strong representation, transparent communication, and consistent contract enforcement. He proudly served on the bargaining team that negotiated the second collective bargaining agreement for the RCOG, working alongside a dedicated and collaborative team to advance protections, working conditions, and fairness for members.

Grounded in the realities of emergency communications work, Chad is committed to protecting due process, supporting professional standards, and ensuring that the voices of call takers, dispatchers, and telecommunicators are represented at the bargaining table and beyond.
