Helping Our Members Make Informed Decisions

As part of our commitment to keeping members informed, the UAW Local 12 – Lucas County 911 Dispatch Unit Committee has invited every candidate for the 2026 UAW International Executive Board election, as and every candidate for UAW Region 2B Director, to participate in our 2026 UAW International Officer Candidate Information Guide.

The purpose of this guide is to provide our members with a single place to learn more about the individuals seeking to represent them at the International level. Each candidate was provided the same questionnaire and afforded the same opportunity to respond.

This publication is strictly informational.

The UAW Local 12 – Lucas County 911 Dispatch Unit does not endorse, oppose, recommend, or campaign for any candidate, slate, caucus, or political viewpoint through this publication. Our goal is simply to present candidate responses so members can make informed decisions based on information provided directly by the candidates themselves.

Every candidate received the same questionnaire, the same instructions, and the same response deadline.

Publication Standards

To ensure fairness and consistency:

• Responses are published as submitted by each candidate.
• No substantive edits, revisions, or alterations are made to candidate responses.
• Candidates who do not submit a response by the published deadline or a response has yet to be received will be listed as "Response Not Received."

Candidate Participation

The questionnaire was distributed to:

• All candidates for the UAW International Executive Board.
• All candidates for UAW Region 2B Director.

Candidate contact information was obtained from publicly available information released by the UAW Monitor.

Participation in this guide is entirely voluntary.

About the Questionnaire

Each candidate was asked to answer the same series of questions regarding topics including:

• Their background and union experience
• Qualifications for the office they are seeking
• Priorities if elected
• Leadership philosophy
• Issues important to UAW members
• Additional information they wish members to consider

This standardized format allows members to compare responses while ensuring every candidate has an equal opportunity to communicate with our membership.
